Arvetta Jideonwo, MHA, CFRE is currently the Founder and CEO of SGS for Good, a social impact and philanthropic consulting firm. As Founder and CEO, Arvetta leads the firm in providing informed solutions for non-profits, foundations, and corporations to maximize their potential to effect social change.
As a leader, Jideonwo believes that everyone deserves an opportunity and has spent her career providing those through leadership that cares, motivates, lifts-up, and inspires team members to be their authentic selves. Through this leadership, she has successfully led teams and navigated companies and organizations through new philanthropic and social impact ventures resulting in sustainable outcomes of $50M+ philanthropic funds and the distribution of $20M+ in community investments from a grantmaking perspective.
Most recently, she was Head of Social Impact of CREA LLC. and Executive Director of CREA Foundation. As the company’s chief philanthropic leader, Arvetta led efforts to establish CREA Foundation, Inc. www.creallc.com/foundation and its strategic grantmaking model, which resulted in the establishment of the CREA Scholars Programs at Indiana University Indianapolis and California State University Northridge and the support of 30 student scholars from affordable housing communities nationwide equating to $780K dedicated to scholarship programs with the support of funding partners. As Head of Social Impact, Arvetta oversaw culture and inclusion, corporate philanthropy, volunteerism, employee and community engagement, and community engagement efforts.
Arvetta has more than 15+ years of executive-level experience within a variety of leadership roles and industries includes serving in a variety of roles at for profit corporations, Central Indiana hospitals and health systems, higher education institutions. She previously served as Executive Director for Bosma Visionary Opportunities Foundation for eight years where she grew its endowment fund from $2M to $13M during her tenure and facilitated and lead board strategic initiatives and programs. Prior to BVOF, she was Vice President of Development for Project Lead The Way, a leading national organization focused on STEM education, where she made strategic grantmaking investments to schools across the country for implementing of its curriculum.
Arvetta is a Certified Fundraising Executive through CFRE International and presents on a local, regional, and national basis on strategic philanthropy and building a “Culture of Good”. She holds a B.S. in Community Health from Indiana State University, a M.S. in Health Administration from Indiana University, and a Non-Profit Executive Leadership Certificate from Harvard University’s John F. Kennedy School of Government. Arvetta is also an Adjunct Faculty Member at the Indiana University Lilly Family School of Philanthropy Fund Raising School. In 2024, Arvetta was named to the Executive Women of Color Leadership Program of The Women's Fund of Central Indiana & Carolene Mays Black Leadership + Legacies, Inc. In 2025, Arvetta was named to the Mutz Philanthropic Leadership Institute of the Indiana Philanthropy Alliance.
She is actively involved in the community through board member and committee roles with a number of non-profit organizations and trade associations on a local and national basis including Grantmakers for Education, Council on Foundations, Indiana Philanthropy Alliance, Society for Diversity, and Diversity Roundtable of Central Indiana.
